girls are flying

My bees are finaly flying. They are also bringing in pollen, in which I assume is maple. There are a lot of dead bees in the bottom board that I can see. I was going to open the hive but I left the vail in my moms car. Last time I fed them i didnt put the lid correctly and the bees decided they where gonna have a top entrance. I dont have a issue with it.

I am also getting ready for my equitment. I am starting three packages, and will make a split or two in april/may. It should be a good year. A nursery owner said I could sell my honey at his store. The people in that area have DEEEP pockets.

We fianlly got some sun today. It was really nice ans some snow melted. The bees didnt fly, but they are a live and I gave them some sugar yesterday.

I also learned that my package shipemnt would be late. Guess the weather sucks in georgia. Mother nature does whatever she chooses.
